Zoeva 105 Luxe Highlight brush feels very soft and luxurious. You can very much tell that the brush is high-quality from the bristles to the handle. It has a mix of natural and synthetic bristles. Absolutely love the slightly shimmery black handle and silver ferrule, with white bristles. It actually looks very much like sigma and MAC makeup brushes minus the ferrule. It has long and tapered bristles which are absolutely great for applying and blending the product. The brush comes in a zip lock pouch, packed very carefully with a plastic cover so the bristles stay in shape. On the website it says that this brush is great for contouring and highlighting but I find that this brush is great for pretty much any powder product application,
So first, obviously for highlighting. Since it’s a highlight brush. I think with this brush you can get the most natural looking healthy glow, by swiping it on the cheekbones and all the highlighting area, but at the same time you can get really dramatic highlight using this brush as well, instead of swiping, try dabbing to pack on the highlight and then blend the edges, you can go as natural or as dramatic as possible. In the picture below you can see how natural it looks with just one little tap in the highlighter and one little swipe.
Summer is gone and tan is fading. Bronzing, well I love it all year round ! This brush is absolutely amazing to bronze up the face. Since it is a little fluffy it’s perfect to add realistic and natural looking color to your face, especially if you have smaller facial structure. Often times the bronzing brushes are wayyy too big and makes your face look muddy and patchy.
Ok I love this brush for highlighting, but I love it just as much for setting the under eye concealer and T-zone. It applies the lightest layer of powder but sets everything in place beautifully.
Since this brush is tapered and precise you can get really beautiful looking well-blended contour.
Loose powders are actually trickier to use than you think. It’s very easy to look cakey and dead when you use loose powders. The way this brush blends and how precise it is, you can really set the specific areas on your face without matiffying the whole face.
Same goes for blush you can keep the application really precise and blend the edges at the same time for more natural looking blush application. I mean nobody like blobs of blush on the cheeks. Unless you do, then sure go ahead use it for highlight.
I think it’s an amazing brush, and I’m so glad I tried out Zoeva makeup brushes.
I hope you find this post helpful.
Good Luck !
