Spa Experience at Home
I was going through old photos from previous vacations we took and I came across photos from when I got treated to a spa experience. It was super relaxing and informative as well. The lady actually kept on telling me all the amazing benefits of all the stuff she was pouring and slathering on me, I didn’t care, I was there to relax I didn’t wanna know any beauty or health benefits, at the same time I didn’t wanna be rude. So I kept on listening to her. But I’m so glad I did, because she did inform me with really beneficial things. And now when I think about it, I feel like I can totally re-do all of that stuff at home with the ingredients I already have in my kitchen. It is super inexpensive and great for your beauty and well being.
You literally need 2 ingredients to make this face mask which are,
- cocoa powder
All she did was mixing 2 tsp of Cocoa Powder and a big spoon full of raw honey and created a mixture. I remember my skin felt really amazing afterwards, and it is super easy. Don’t worry if you can’t get your hands on super fancy face masks, trusts me it works just fine. Cocoa powder is packed with antioxidants, it tightens the pores, and prevents aging, it deeply hydrates the skin and cancels the environmental damage like pollution, sun damage etc. Honey is antibacterial, and helps heal wounds, cuts and aftermath of popping pimples, acne scars, it softens and moisturizes the skin. Both the ingredients are incredible for your skin.
This body scrub is by far the best body scrub of life. It requires only 2 ingredients, technically 3, which are,
- Cocoa Powder
- Coconut powder/grinded coconut
Now this part can get messy so make sure you do it in the shower or if you don’t mind the mess, great ! for me, I do not like the mess it created, I don’t want that at my home. So, I would suggest to fill up a jar with equal amounts of cocoa powder and coconut powder and keep it in the shower, scoop it out with a spoon everytime you want to use it, and you can keep it for as long as you would like, it won’t go bad. It is all natural so no side effects and it is also great for people with sensitive skin. All she did was mixing all these three ingredients and made a scrub like consistency. It was creamy but the coconut powder did a great job at scrubbing off the dead skin, and left my skin feeling nourished, polished and shiny. I don’t know the best way to explain it, but my skin actually looked a l glossy, shiny afterwards, very polished. Experience it for yourself and let me know.
I hope you find this post helpful.
