Soft and Sultry Makeup look (Valentine’s Special)

Soft and Sultry Makeup look (Valentine’s Special)

This makeup look has to be my most worn and loved makeup look. It is quick it is mess-free and it looks beautiful. It is a bit of soft and a bit of dramatic make up look. Neutral eyeshadows give that soft and subtle vibe, while winged eyeliner is fierce. And to tie the whole look together I used Estee Lauder’s pure color envy lipstick in “Dynamic”. It is a beautiful rosey pink color, and I have to say, it is my second favorite on Lipstick List.

Brow Bone:

I used “Bootycall” from Urban decay Naked 2 palette to highlight the brow bone. Like I always do. It makes the  eyebrows look cleaner and sharp. And these days especially eyebrows are all the rage. (HAHA)

- With Naked2 brush:

Crease:

As a crease shadow I used, “Busted” from urban decay Naked2 palette. It is a beautiful mauve-rust-ish shade. It looks amazing on all eye colors. Using dark shades in the crease give your eyes more deep and define look.

- With real techniques deluxe crease brush.

Outer V:

Outer V means, the outer third of your eyes. I used “black out” from Naked2 palette, which is matte black shadow, to give my eyes more elongated look, since I am gonna apply winged eyeliner. And blended it in the crease.

-With Real Techniques Base Shadow brush:

Eye Lid:

After that, the star shadow of this look. “YDK” from Naked2 palette, on the eyelids and blended it with black out to give more gradient effect. It’s like a slow transition from YDK to Black out. Apply it on the eyelids and blend it.

-YDK works best when you apply it with your finger, and blended it with Real Techniques Base Shadow brush.

Winged Eyeliner:

Then I used “Sephora Smart Eyeliner Pen” to apply winged eyeliner. And you can wing it out as far as you would like, just make sure you don’t go pass the eyebrow. You can keep the wing as precise as you would like it to be. I do like to wing it out quite a bit.

Lower Lash Line:

After that is done, I used Urban decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Perversion in the inner and out rims of the eyes. And smudged it with sephora dual ended brush, making sure I join it with the winged eyeliner to complete the eye makeup.

Lips:

Estee Lauder Pure color envy lipstick in “Dynamic” is the best match for this eye makeup look, as for me. I love how It is not over the top pink, statement lip, and at the same time it’s not super nude-pink and bland. It is a perfect balance. It looks pretty red-ish in the bullet, but when you apply it, It’s the prettiest shade of pink. Plus it melts on your lips like butter, and It does feel luxurious, considering it is a high-end lipstick.

It is such an easy makeup look. Hope you like it just as much as I do.

Good Luck!
