Shiseido Intensive Anti-Spot Serum Update
A couple of weeks ago I shared my Shiseido purchase and said I’ll update you guys if I saw any visible difference. Here’s my 2 weeks check-in/update, will keep you posted on how it goes, after a month. As much as we expect our skincare to do miracles for us, at the end of the day, these’re not miraculous products. And depending on the quality of the ingredients, you achieve the results, but it’s never magical or anything instant. Skincare takes time, and for a product to show results in a couple of weeks is usually a good sign. Remember, we’re not talking about intense detox masks or stuff like that. We’re talking about a serum, product that you use everyday and eventually see the results.
The Website Claims
More Than Just A Spot Corrector.A serum 8 out of 10 women prefer over laser treatment* Backed by more than 100 years of expertise in skin pigmentation, Shiseido has discovered the genetic cause of stubborn spots, and developed a potent new formula. It seeks dark spots and targets them with the precision of laser treatment, while keeping your skin healthy and radiant. I believe that depending on your age, the severeness of your problem, your skin type, lifestyle and many other things, the results are different for everyone. In my experience, I saw a slight difference after a week, it was very minimal but definitely there, as I continued using it in the second week, I saw the spot fading rather faster than the first week. At this point the spots haven’t faded away completely but they’re very negligible. I like the fact they haven’t made any miraculous claims on their website, yes I did see the difference within first week, but like I said it was very mild, but as I kept using it, it definitely made a difference. My skin looks brighter and more radiant, which by the way also has to do with the lifestyle changes I have made in the past couple of months. I’ll continue using it, and keep you guys updated on the progress. If you follow my blog you’ll know I splurge more on skincare than makeup, even though I love both of those things equally. Even though Shiseido Anti-Spot is a skincare splurge, if you can spare some extra cash, I think t’s worth the splurge.
So, that’s my 2 weeks update on this product. I hope you find this post helpful.
