Sephora Mud Mask – Purifying and Mattifying | Review
You all know how enthusiastic I am when it comes to skincare. I wanted to review some affordable skincare products, because not everyone’s willing to sell their kidney for skincare like myself(lol), well It was a joke, just in case you didn’t get it. I haven’t tried a lot of sephora skincare products, but I love their Sheet masks, especially the pearl and the green tea one. Last week I went in to repurchase glamglow tingle exfoliate mud mask and green tea sheet mask and instead of repurchasing those I decided to give this sephora mud mask and bubble mask a go. And here’s my review on Sephora Mud mask. It’s actually known to be a dupe for Glamglow Tingle Exfoliate mud mask. You get 2.03 oz(60ml) with sephora mud mask, for the price of travel size glamglow mask. However it’s not about the quantity, it’s about the quality.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s a dupe for GlamGlow Tingle Exfoliate Mud mask, but it’s PRETTY CLOSE ! I absolutely love the new clay masks formulation, the come off easy. Sephora Mud mask has a very chalky, but non-offensive scent, at least to me. I don’t mind different scents as long as they don’t linger. And obviously I’m going to wash it off. I will say though, it reallyyyyy sucks out the excessive oil from the pores. It’s very gentle, way gentle than Glamglow tingle exfoliate mud mask. If you find that the glamglow one is super harsh for you, you will really like this sephora mud mask. It’s way gentler on the skin.
Zinc is known to help calm the acne and reduce the inflammation that is caused by acne, this mask really helps to dry out the new pimple and can definitely be used as a spot treatment. Overall I love Sephora Mud mask. An additional tip, the reason I avoid buying full-size mud masks is, because they dry out before you can finish them, don’t throw away the air-tight seal, so it doesn’t go to waste.
I think it’s a great skincare product, and not just for the price. The texture is gritty, like mud obviously. But it’s soft at the same time. The texture of Sephora mud mask feels very much like Estee Lauder Clear Difference purifying and exfoliating mask. It gently removes the dead skin, cleans and unclogs the pores. If you’re looking for a good mud mask to add to your skincare regimen, definitely give Sephora Mud mask a go.
I actually really like the packaging as well. It doesn’t feel cheap or plasticy. In fact it feels like good quality and it looks pretty too. If anything it’s a better dupe for Estee Lauder Clear Difference exfoliating mask than Glamglow Tingle exfoliate.
I hope you find this post helpful.
