Perfect Winged eye and Nude lips
I am back on the Winged Eyeliner band wagon, if you follow my blog or anywhere on my social media, you would know I was taking a break from winged eyeliner, and now I have fallen back in love with it. I just go through phases, and I think it’s all about having fun with your makeup. So, this blog post is totally dedicated to the look that I consider to be my most favorite and Perfect Winged eye and Nude lips . The Feline Eyeliner is super exaggerated and elongated, and to make it cattier and more dramatic I added a tiny little wing in the inner corners of the eyes as well, it just elongates the eyes and really make them look dramatic and fierce. The nude lip I wore with this eye makeup is my favorite nude lip combo, I have mentioned it before on my blog and instagram. Believe it or not this makeup look is suuuuper duuuuper easy to create, it just looks complicated, but you will see in the steps below how simple and easy it is,
First things that I always do before doing any makeup look. Applied a brow highlight and a transition shade, above the crease, which is just a shade darker than my actual skin tone, and hardly noticeable in the picture, but helps a lot in blending the eyeshadow, you put over the top.
After the basic steps, I added a pinky brown eyeshadow in the crease and blended it above the crease with the transition shade. Any muted pink eyeshadow would work. It is always about working what you have got, look at the eyeshadows you have and whichever one looks the closest go with it, or use your imagination and switch the colors. I went with the pinky brown for this makeup look.
Now I used an angled brush, applied a dark brown eyeshadow and drew an angled line, as if I was applying a winged eyeliner with the eyeshadow, and blended it close to the lash line and made it disappear on the lash-line as it went towards the inner corners. So there will be a slight haze underneath the winged eyeliner, which I like.
After that I went for a very light wash of a gold eyeshadow on the lids, and kept it very muted, if you want it to be really opaque and gold, you can always build your eyeshadow, I like to have a very slight gold hint, without it being focus of the look, I want the eyeliner to be the focus of the look. Applied a very exaggerated feline eyeliner and also brought it in the inner corners like middle eastern style eyeliner. After that I used the same dark brown eyeshadow I used on the upper lashline and applied it on the lower lashline, and joined it with the eyeliner.
Almost done with the eye makeup. I used a black eye pencil in the tightline and a nude pencil in the water liner, and applied quite a few coats of mascara.
For lips I went with a Nyx retractable lip pencil in Nude and topped it up with the Estee Lauder Shimmer Gloss called Magnificent Mauve in #6 and Rimmel apocalips lip lacquer in Nude, just in the middle of the lips.
I absolutely love this makeup look. If you try it out, share your pictures with me.
