So a new Lush store opened near where I live, and I’m pretty darn happy/excited about it. To anyone who is unfamiliar with the brand (which I doubt there’s any), it’s a fresh homemade cosmetics brand(vegan). They use Natural + Safe synthetic ingredients. Last weekend I bought some bits from Lush store and here they are.
Lush haul #1
White heart shaped, studded flowers, and floral scent, it just feels very vintage and classic to me. It smells AHHMAZING ! Since I’m not so great at describing scents, here’s how this product is described on their website, “He loves me, he loves me not – Tisty Tosty is based on a medieval love potion. Studded with seven real rosebuds, it is scented with a captivating combination of floral orris root powder, rose, and lemon. As this dissolves in the bath, you may fall in love with it as the scent of geranium, jasmine and rose create a spellbinding fragrance. Rose oil also gets to work soothing broken hearts – it’s used by aromatherapists to lift the spirits.”

Breath of fresh air
Toner + Face Mist
This toner is suppose to calm, sooth, soften and nourish the skin. I have already started using it but I think it’s too early to share my thoughts on this product. It has a very therapeutic scent. On their website: “This is the most refreshing of all our toner waters, with mineral-rich carrageenan seaweed extract and rose absolute to tone and balance the skin. This is perfect to use as a spritz in the summer to cool down, or any time of year when you want to feel refreshed. Rose absolute will help to reduce redness whilst patchouli oil is cooling and astringent on the skin.”
Lush haul #3
Five Gold Rings
These bubble bar gold rings are from their Christmas collection. You can use an individual ring for each bath. I don’t like glitter at all. It’s super glittery and super messy. But I didn’t get it for myself. My little girl loves bubble baths and I thought it will be a fun little thing for her. It isn’t a lot of glitter once you dissolve it in bath tub obviously and it rinses off. It smell sweet but nothing over-empowering. On Lush website this product is described as;”Forget a partridge in a pear tree, you’ll want to skip ahead to the fifth day of Christmas to get your hands on these sparkling bubble bar rings! Crumble under running water for a creamy Fair Trade vanilla-filled bath, infused with skin-softening illipe butter and uplifting moringa oil. If you’re hoping for a ring come Christmas day, this might just be the next best thing.”
Lush haul #4
If you have been following my blog for a while you know how much I mention tea tree oil. You dissolve this Tea Tree toner tab in hot water and take the steam, since tea tree oil is antibacterial and antiseptic it helps detoxify the skin and it’s great for people who suffer acne or want to avoid acne. Plus this toner tab also has aloevera extracts that soothes and softens the skin, because tea tree oil can be pretty darn drying, especially if your skin is dry to begin with. I’m pretty excited to try this little tab out, and let me know if you want me to keep you updated. here’s what the website says about this product “If your skin could use a little extra TLC, try this powerful yet gentle treatment of tea tree oil and aloe vera. Tea tree is known for its antibacterial and antiseptic properties, and helps to combat the bacteria that causes spots. Aloe vera is kind, cooling and wonderfully gentle on the skin. Drop into a bowl of hot water, releasing the steam to open pores and allow the essential oils to be absorbed.”
Lush Haul #5
Angels on bare skin
This is the product I’m excited to try out the most. Angels on bare skin is one of the cult favorite vegan face cleansers. It’s all natural, the ingredients in this solid face cleanser are absolutely amazing for this skin. It’s non drying and has great skincare benefits. On their website this product is described as, “This incredibly gentle cleanser is made from 100% natural ingredients. Inspired by a mediaeval recipe and topped off with lavender flowers, this contains kaolin to absorb grease and dirt, leaving skin clean and nourished. Lavender oil and rose absolute calm the skin. As you mix your solid cleanser with water to form a paste, the ground almonds create almond milk which helps to tone and brighten the skin. This can be used all over your body as well as your face.” I have really high expectations from this product(haha), I hope it’s as good as I imagine it in my head.
These’re all the bits and pieces from this little Lush haul. If you want me to review any of these products then let me know in the comments below, or on my social media(facebook page or Instagram).
