How to prevent signs of aging on your face:
Skin aging is a natural process. As we grow old our skin starts to show that. You must have noticed the babies have the smoothest and the most glowing skin. But as we all grow old, our skin starts to get dull and we see lines and wrinkles appear. From 20+ the signs of aging starts to appear, speeds up from 25+ and by 30+ your skin starts to really show all those lines and wrinkles if it is not well taken care of. All the makeup products you buy are of no use if your skin is not nourished and well taken care of. Skin care comes first. In this blog I am going to share how you can prevent the early signs of aging, couple of DIY at home masks and things you can consider in order to deal with wrinkles and fine lines.
Elasticity of the skin:
As we grow old our skin starts to lose the elasticity. Causing lines and wrinkles. It is so important to keep your skin hydrated. People with dry skin show signs of aging earlier than people with combination or oily skin. If you have particularly dry skin you need to take extra care. Always use a nice hydrating moisturizer and treat your skin to a hydrating face mask once or twice a week.
Our skin starts to lose collagen, which is responsible for the even texture of our skin. It fights all the outer damage to the skin and reforms it. From age of 25, especially 35 onwards, your skin will need your help to restore the collagen. Add collagen rich foods to your diet like kale, kiwi, pumpkin seeds, papaya, pineapple, sweet potato, blueberries etc. Collagen rich food like that will help your skin to prevent lines and wrinkles and keep it youthful for as long as possible and make you age beautifully. Collagen is the most important factor when it comes to aging skin. It prevents your skin from sagging and losing it’s shape.
Creams and serums:
Creams and serums with tightening and firming properties can really help you out. It is never too early to start using mild anti-aging products. Because from early 20s the process of aging begins. Don’t be hesitant to use mild anti-age creams or serums.
You do not need to spend your hard earned money on expensive anti-aging products. Nature has given us so many options, which are more effective than artificial formulated products. Go for more natural alternatives which are not only great for your skin but also they are inexpensive and work better than super expensive products. You might find these ingredients in your kitchen already or easily from your grocery store. I will be sharing 2 super effective and amazing masks in this blog.
Banana + Coffee
Banana is one of the super fruits. It is rich with so many amazing and beneficial properties. Coffee is the best natural skin firming ingredient. Have you even noticed that most of the firming and tightening expensive products have coffee in them and spas have super expensive coffee scrubs, masks and exfoliators. Most of the big companies use coffee in their anti-aging products, and also it is found it most cellulite treatments . Take half of a ripped banana and half a table spoon of grounded coffee. Mix it well, and apply it on your face and neck for about 10 to 20 minutes. Neck is the first part of your body that starts to show sings of aging. This mask will nourish and moisturize your skin and also tighten and brighten it. It is super easy. It will de-puff your eyebags, crow’s feet, folded lines on your forehead and prevent further signs of aging. It also acts as a gentle face scrub. When you rinse this mask off make sure you gently rub it around to get rid of dead skin, and give your skin a gentle exfoliation, which is regulate the flow of blood in your skin, resulting in healthy glowing skin.
Pineapple and Papaya:
Both pineapple and papaya have amazing anti-aging properties. You can use both of these on their own, just mash them and put it all over your face and you will see the results. But you can also mix pineapple+olive oil or papaya+olive oil and apply it all over your face. It is going to tighten up your skin and also give it a pretty glow, which we lose as we grow old. The key to making a mask is to make it like a paste consistency. Totally customizable. Use as much as you want, but the mask should not slip and slide all over your face, as I said it should be a paste consistency.
Stay beautiful <3
Good Luck !
