Get Spring 2016 Ready on BudgetΒ

Finally Spring is here. Sun is shining bright, well most days ! Luckily ! And it has started to get a lot warmer and livelier, which I absolutely love. As much as I love seeing new trends every year, not all trends are for every one. Just because we live in a consumer society doesn’t mean we have to always be a part of it. There’s nothing wrong with trying a new trend every now and then, but changing up your whole wardrobe every season, doesn’t make any sense to me.

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know, I stick to neutral colors, that’s just my style, and luckily neutrals are perfect for every season. My Spring Style Motto every year is to add pops of bright-colors in a very subtle way. Spring doesn’t always have to be bright floral prints everywhere. There’re very few things that I change in my wardrobe, if anything. My Wardrobe Spring Cleaning only requires taking out the heavy parka/jacket out of the closet, and that’s it. I don’t wear heavy clothing pieces anyway.

Autumn/Winter is all about looking Proper, and Layering up, but Spring/Summer is all about comfy-Chic and carefree. So don’t try too hard. Just keep it breezy and easy(well, that rhymed).

  • Try out a metallic Eyeliner,
  • or a pair of bright patent shoes,
  • a trendy pair of sunglasses
  • or a bright nail color.
  • Keep the makeup minimal, keep it fresh, add a bright lip color.
  • Nothing Screams Spring louder than a bright lip color.

It’s just about adding few pops of colors and keeping it fresh and minimal. That’s just my personal Spring Style Motto. Don’t feel pressured to change up your wardrobe with every new weather. Get the use out of things that you already own and jazz em up a little and enjoy !
