All types of acne, except blackheads leave acne scars. And it takes 28 days for our skin to complete natural skin peeling process and renew the cells. But the deeper the acne scaring is, the longer it will take for you to get rid of it. Following are the basic simple things you can do in order to avoid/get rid of stubborn acne scars;


Exfoliate :

Exfoliation is very very, very important. (Don’t over-exfoliate). What exfoliation does is, it removes the layer of dead skin and helps your skin to with peeling process. It makes the process quicker, hence, you see the results quickly and also it cleans up all the pores, which avoids any clogging pores and pimples and also your skin can breathe and in result you get glowy and healthy skin.

Drink a lot of water:

Drinking water will remove all the toxins from your body and moisturize your skin from the inside. Because scars on dry skin takes longer to fade. And they get deeper and deeper, which makes it hard for your skin to complete the peeling circle.




Sunscreen is the most ignored and important thing. It create a shield in between your skin and UV rays. Because UV rays darkens the scars,hence, it is harder to get rid ofΒ  them.a aa aaa aaaa aaaaa




If you have the equipments to steam clean your pores, that great. But if you don’t a face towel soaked in a hot water does the drill. Place it gently on your pimple and let it loosen up. It will draws all the puss/blackhead/whitehead out and encourages the peeling process.



There are so many OTC masks, take advantage from them, all the purifying, anti-blemishes masks. Use them ! or make your own homemade masks, raw honey works the best in fading the acne scars away.

Eat Clean and Healthy:

You are what you eat. If your diet is clean and healthy and your body is getting all the nutrients that it needs to function properly, you will see a drastic change in your skin. Not only it will make your skin healthy and get rid of blemishes but also it will avoid pimples. Try to avoid junk food, processed food, GMO foods, oily foods, and also eliminate soda from your diet, for a lot of people dairy causes acne. Eat clean and if possible organic and foods that your body can digest easily.

Don’t pick on your pimples:

I know it is very very very hard to avoid picking on your pimples. But picking your pimples only makes it worse. The more you try to squeeze it or touch it, you only make the scar worse and deep. And spreads the bacteria and germs which causes more pimples and scars. So try your best and don’t pick on your pimples.
