Estee Lauder Re-Nutriv Intensive Age-Renewal Eye Cream Review
When it comes to skincare I’m a little crazy, and it’s no secret by now if you have been following me for a while. I love everything beauty related, and skincare is a huge part of it. Estee lauder is one of my favorite brands for skincare. It’s been more than a month I have been using the Re-nutriv intensive age renewal eye cream from Estee Lauder. I shared a picture about 5 weeks ago, and at that time I was already using it for a week or so. I used to think that eye-creams are just a glorified form of moisturizer in small pots, which is not true at all. You’re never too young to start using an eye cream, opt for one that is perfect for your age, my skincare products, well they’re all over the place, I don’t stick to a my own age group, if I find something appealing I’ll use it.
Estee Lauder Re-nutriv intensive age renewal eye-cream is one of estee lauder’s more expensive and luxe skincare collections. Don’t ask how I fell for it, for the price tag it comes with, but I did. Anyhow, As the name suggests this product is suppose to reduce the signs of aging from your under eye area. As far as my experience with this product goes, I love it, but I’m not blown away by it. For the first 2-3 weeks I didn’t notice any difference, it was just like using any other (less-expensive) eye cream. But I felt like a queen everytime I used it, and you can’t put a price on that(pfff). By the 3rd week I noticed a little difference, my under eye area looked brighter, but nothing else. Still kept using it, because well,I bought it I’m not gonna throw it away because I didn’t see the results I was expecting.
It’s after using it for a whole month religiously, I noticed a visible difference. The under-eye area looked visibly smoother and makeup went on a lot better. I’ve mentioned it quite a few times on my blog that my under-eye area gets really puffy if I don’t get enough sleep(which I obviously don’t) and also if I’m really tired (which most of the time I am). This eye cream has really helped with calming down that puffiness. I think this is also why the under-eye area looks a whole lot smoother and refreshed. Quite honestly I haven’t seen much of a difference with fine-lines and wrinkles, if anything, the really really new little lines are wayy smoother and blurred out than the rest, but it didn’t make a very huge difference in that department. May be in future, if I do notice any difference I’ll keep you guys updated.
Packaging, it’s very sophisticated and beautiful. Love the gold and blue details on silver packaging. Comes with a little spatula thingy, which is pretty handy to scoop out just enough cream, without wasting any. One scoop is all you need. Over all I did see a huge difference, my under eye area looks wayyyyyy smoother and fresher, but as far as fine lines and wrinkles go, the difference is there, but it’s not what I was expecting. Even though this mini pot is super expensive, but this thing is gonna last me forever. Would I repurchase it ? I don’t think so. Not because I don’t like the product, I do love it. But, it didn’t quite hit the “holy grail” mark.
Skincare products work different for everyone. This has been my experience with it.
I hope you find this post helpful.
