It feels like I posted my last blog post ages ago. Have been so sooo busy, but quite honestly I didn’t feel very motivated either.
The truth is if I felt motivated enough I would have pushed myself to pump out more blog posts, if there’s anything I consider myself good at, that is pushing myself. It’s a blessing and a curse at the same time (haha) Anyhow, I know it sounds crazy to some people when I say,”I have this need to be creative”, and truthfully I do really enjoy blogging, so I hope I can carry on like ush now.Enough with me, now getting back to what this post is actually about. If you follow me on Instagram it won’t come as a surprise to you that I love Estee Lauder Skincare. I bought this Estee lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum, right when I bought the Re-Nutriv Intensive Age-Renewel Eye creme, and have been using ever since.

In my previous posts I’ve mentioned the dietary changes I have been making from a long long time. Because of eliminating so many things, that my body is used to and adding so many things that are new to my body, obviously it had an effect on my skin.I was getting these weird bumps, that weren’t quite like acne, but my skin didn’t feel totally smooth either, but that wasn’t the worse part. The worse part was every time I would get a tiny little bump it would leave a scar behind, which had never happened to me before. But since I knew the reason behind it, I didn’t sweat it. However to get rid of those dark spots I got this product. A fellow blogger “Claire Elizabeth Ellis” (who by the way is super sweet, pretty and talented), mentioned this product on her blog and it spoke to me. Claire herself told me that she loves this product, and has repurchased it. Since I knew Estee Lauder skincare works for me, and it had such great reviews, I literally picked it up the same weekend.
And well I’m glad I did. It lives up to expectations. If you love a bright and even complexion you’ll love this product. I noticed the difference after 5-7 days and it was very obvious that the product was doing it’s job. It faded away any spots that were left behind, the redness and the dullness everything was evened out. My skin looked even toned and just brighter. I was pretty impressed and I kept using it. However the moment I stopped using it. Everything came back. There were a couple of days where I was so darn busy, I didn’t wanna go through all the skincare steps, and I skipped it, and the dullness, and unevenness was back. Also another thing that didn’t quite sit well with me,
On the packaging it says, it’s a night serum, but you’re suppose to use it both, day and night, and this is not the only estee lauder product that says that. The Advanced Night Repair range, like it says “night repair” but you’re suppose to use it both morning and evening. So that part I don’t really appreciate.
But as far as results go, I absolutely have fallen in love with this product. It’s a thin milky consistency and super fast absorbing. It works great. I was using Shiseido Intensive Spot Targeting Serum before this one, which is another skincare favorite of mine, while they both do similar things, I find Estee Lauder Enlighten is more efficient, and costs lesser than Shiseido one. For any skincare product to work, you have to use it consistently and I’m happy with the results I got with this product. Overall I do think Estee Lauder Enlighten serum is worth the money.
I hope you find this post helpful.
Good Luck !
