It’s about time I share some of my new favorite products. I know I haven’t been so consistent on my blog, only because I have been super super busy. But, to make up for that I have been pretty active on Instagram. If you don’t see a blog post from me in a while, head over to my Instagram to stay updated. Anyway, Current Favorites ! I don’t know about you, but for me personally, changing weather means updating everything, whether it’s Deep Cleaning the house and wardrobe or customizing skincare and makeup products according to weather. Everything has to be “perfect”, well perfect is too strong of a word, “Ideal for us” sounds better. That’s just who I am. Everything I’m going to mention in today’s post, fits in the theme of hotter months.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit
- L’Oreal Perfect Match Foundation
- Primark Moroccan Mint Leaf Candle
- Herbal Essences Volumizing Conditioner (Mint)
- Clinique chubby stick shadow tints for eyes “Fuller Fudge”
- LoveMarc Lip Gel “role play”
- UD heavy metal glitter liner “midnight cowboy”
- Rituals Magic Touch Cherry Blossom and Rice milk Body cream
- Alpha H daily essentials moisturizer with Spf 50+
- Sephora Mud Mask purifying and mattifying
- ZARA home Gardenia Lenin Spray
Anastasia Powder Contour Kit, I don’t know what took me so long to get this product. I’m so so so in love with it, it’s kinda insane. My absolute favorites bronzing shade is “Havana”, and least favorite is “Sand” only because it’s too subtle for the kind of highlight I like. I like the kind of highlight that makes people squint their eyes. I’d love if Anastasia replaced this subtle highlight with one of her Iluminators, just a suggestion but there’re people who actually live for subtle highlight, so good for them. But apart of “sand” I absolutely love all the shades.
L’Oreal Perfect Match foundation, If you’re looking for a foundation that is affordable and gives a not so dewy, not so matte second skin like look, try this one out. Even though summer is here, it hasn’t been so hot, it’s my favorite kind of weather, not too hot, not too cold, and this foundation is perfect for that. Even though the shade I bought is a little too pink-toned for my skintone, I still make it work by adding bronzer and concealer. It has micro-shimmer in it, which is undetectable on the skin, but gives a gorgeous healthy/summer glow.
Primark Moroccan Mint Leaf Candle, I love candles, a bit too much. I think a candle can change the whole atmosphere and vibe of the room. I have way too many favorite candles, but for now this has been making my home more homey. It has a very therapeutic but fresh scent. Also, I absolutely love the metallic vase, I’m definitely gonna put it to good use later.
Herbal Essence Volumizing Conditioner Mint, anything mint ! I love ! It is so so refreshing, and in hotter months that’s basically what you need the most. When I think of summer looks, I imagine messy, carefree voluminous hair and bronzed + glowing skin. This condition doesn’t make a huge difference, but just enough to give you a natural looking lift in your hair. I always use it before I blow dry my hair and it gives a very effortless bounce to my hair. But my favorite part is, the way it makes my hair smell. Uhh ! love it ! not everyone’s cup of tea I know that, but I live for it.
Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow tint for eyes, If we talk about packaging, oh I don’t like it, only because the shadow stick slides right out of the packaging if you’re not careful with the way you open it. But if we talk about the shade, it’s a gorgeous chocolaty brown eyeshadow with very subtle gold glitter in it. It looks so so so gorgeous with a lot of bronzer and mascara. Even on the real minimal makeup days where I was only using Lancome Cushion Foundation, lip oil and mascara, I qucikly swiped this product on the lids.
LoveMarc Lip Gel, You can’t go wrong with pinky-mauve lips with any makeup look whatsoever. Every girl needs a pinky-mauve lip color in her makeup collection, no matter how big or small it is. There’re few mauve lip shades that make my complexion look really dull and tired, I stick to the mauves that have some pinky hues in them. And this one is perfect for my skintone.
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter “Midnight Cowboy”, uhh this has made the glittler life so much easier. If you’ve ever worked with lose glitter, you’ll know it’s a pain in the neck. It can get pretty messy and in order to avoid the mess you’ve to be super duper gentle and careful. With the UD glitter liners, you can have pretty similar look without any fuss and mess.
Rituals Magic Touch Body Cream, Rituals has become one of my favorite brands for bodycare products. Their products are so fast absorbing and nourishing. I’ve actually been using this one as a hand cream, and it works like a magic. My hands tend to get pretty dry no matter what the weather is, I keep it in my bag and use it on the go. Since it’s so fast absorbing and moisturizing at the same time, it doesn’t leave any residue but keeps my hands well moisturized.
Alpha H daily essentials moisturizer with spf 50+, Even though I try to avoid the peak sun hours, but it doesn’t always go as planned. We spend all the summer days out in the patio, from lunch to dinner, we pretty much spend the whole day there. Spf is a must. For this summer I tried out this Alpha H one, and if you haven’t already read the review on my blog, let me tell you it is Ahhhmazing !
Sephora Mud Mask Purifying and Mattifying, I’ve combination-oily skin. Need I say more ? This product is absolutely amazing at mattifying your skin. A few weeks ago I repurchased it, even though they’ve repackaged it, the actual product works just the same and I prefer the new packaging.
Zara Home Gardenia Linen Spray, Again, if you have been following me on Instagram for a while you’ll know I’m a bit too obsessed with Gardenia scent, from my actual perfume to linen spray and candles, this scent is my absolute favorite. When I spotted it at Zara home , I knew I needed it. It makes the sheets smell so good, and for a person who struggles to fall asleep, it really helps. No matter how tired I am, falling asleep is a process for me. And there’re certain things that really help me to sleep better, one of them is nice smelling sheet of course. Which is why I’ve been loving it lately.
These’re all the products I have been loving lately. Would love to hear about some of your favorite products.
I hope you find this post helpful.
