Current Favorite Skincare Products
I’m a big advocate for skincare. It’s so important to understand your skin and cater to the needs accordingly. You might be using the most luxurious and extravagant skincare products, but if they’re not right for your skin type, you’re basically causing more harm than help. Plus keep that in mind, just because you’re good at taking care of your skin doesn’t mean you’re gonna have flawless skin. When it comes to skincare, being consistent and observing the little improvements is the key. With all that said, let’s talk about my current favorite/most used skincare products.
Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil
This one has quickly become my absolute favorite. I’m not a specialist, but people who actually understand skincare, aka professionals, they love this product. It’s a cult favorite and I totally get why. The one I have is for “dehydrated skin”, and I have noticed this face oil has made a huge difference in the way my skin looks. It almost feels like it has restored elasticity. I use it at night, and in the morning my skin feels soft and plump, if that’s even the right way to describe.
Lush Angels on Bare Skin
I’ve reviewed this product a while back on my blog and also mentioned it in my morning skincare post. I stopped using it because it can get pretty messy if you’re in a rush, and considering how I’m always hustling I couldn’t get myself to use it. Now I’ve switched it from morning to evening and it works out perfectly. I don’t know what this face wash does, but you can see your skin brighten up instantly.
Lancome Hydra Zen Masque
This mask is one of those “extra/princessy” skincare products, that’re not really necessary, but once you actually use them, you see the difference. When I bought it I had my preconceived notions, and obviously whether something’s expensive or low-priced you don’t want to waste your money for a useless product. Since I was so hooked to glamglow masks, it was appealing to try out something new. Even though it is an over-night mask, I use it in the evening and wash it of before I go to sleep. It gives a very spa-like, relaxing feeling. Whenever I’m having extra busy or stressful day, at the end of the day I pour myself a cup of tea, put this mask on and just relax. It feels so refreshing and relaxing.
Estee Lauder Enlighten Night Serum & Shiseido Anti-Spot Serum
I’m mentioning them both together, because they both deliver very similar results. In my previous post I shared a review on Estee Lauder Enlighten Night Serum and I also mentioned in that post, even though Shideido Anti-Spot serum delivers very similar results, I find that Estee Lauder Enlighten is more efficient. Not only I noticed results quicker than the anti-spot serum but also, the result were better. I do deal with occasional acne, and whenever I get acne, it leaves a mark, even if I don’t touch it. And if you’ve ever dealt with acne scar/scars, you’ll know how stubborn and annoying those mother-lovers are.
Lancome VISIONNAIRE Advanced Skin Corrector
I LOVE this serum. I use it as a preventive measure for premature wrinkles. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know how much I love makeup. And basically no matter how gentle you’re with the application. It’s still causing friction which leads to premature wrinkles and of course with time wrinkles and other signs of aging do appear on your skin and you can’t get rid of them. While you should embrace them, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to age gracefully.
If you have any skincare product that you absolutely love, let me know. I’d love to try it out.
I hope you find this post helpful.
