Current Favorite Face Brushes
Make brushes, the magical tools that help us put on makeup flawlessly. These days affordable and amazing makeup brushes are easy to find, but I remember few years ago, buying a makeup brush set would cost an arm and a leg. I’m going to talk about my current favorite face makeup brushes in this post and also how I like to use them. I know, it can be pretty confusing sometimes to pick the right makeup brushes, especially if you’re a makeup beginner.
Zoeva 105 Luxe Highlight brush & Real Techniques Contour Brush
These two are very very similar brushes, that’s why I’m mentioning them together. The tapered bristles are great to apply and blend the product at the same time, brushes like these ones are super versatile. Both these brushes are dense enough to pack a good amount of product but feathered/fluffy enough to blend it at the same time. Real Techniques Contour brush I’m currently using to create a really soft contoured look and Zoeva Highlight Brush is perfect to use as a setting brush.
Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease Brush
After few washes, this brush actually changed it’s shape and become more of a fluffy blending brush. Which is fine, because there’s no such thing as too many blending brushes. I was using it as a brush for blending the transition eyeshadow, but lately I’m more into control highlighted look, instead of all over glow. This brush is so so perfect to highlight with precision. If you highlight with precision you can really bring out the certain areas of your face, that’s why I’m loving this brush.
Zoeva Luxe Cheek Finish Blush & Ebay Makeup Brush
In my “frugal finds” post where I shared 3 really good deals, I mentioned a 7 pcs brush set I bought from ebay, because I wanted to test out if those brushes were any good and I was pleasantly surprised. I love both these brushes for bronzing up the face. They both are fluffy and soft. Perfect for creating a warm glow on the face.
Ebay Brush Set The contour brush
If you’re into contouring you’ll love this brush. I personally like a medium contour, not too harsh, not too soft, and this brush helps me achieve the look. You might wanna be a little careful with this brush because it packs on a lot of product. Just dab it once in the product and that’s more than enough to create a medium contoured look.
Ebay Brush Set, The blush brush
If you’re looking for a really affordable brush set, give this ebay brush set a go. These brushes are amazing. I used to totally skip the blush and just broze up the face, but lately I’ve been enjoying wearing blushers. And yes I’ll give the credit to this brush. I don’t like a lot of blush, just a hint, is more than enough for me, and this brush is perfect, it’s not too big like more blush brushes and it’s not to fluffy and feathered, you can really control where you apply the blush and I love it.
These’re all the face makeup brushes that I’m loving lately.
I hope you find this post helpful.
