Bold Makeup look
Not everybody likes to wear bold makeup looks. But before I start with this look I really wanna share that this look would look good pretty much with any lip color. So if you are not into matte and bold statement lips, skip it and opt for any shade of your choice, a pink, or peach, orange, or nude, any lip shade would look amazing with this look. So, now that is cleared, let’s talk about this look. I think this look just screams “Fierce”. I love the nude water line, I love the matte brown lip shade, I love the greenish gold on the lids. I love everything about this look. And to be honest I really felt refreshed taking break from “oh so sweet” make up looks. This is not the kind of look you would wanna wear when you hang out with your family, or you do that if it’s your thing. I think it is more fun and appropriate when you are with friends. If you just change the lip shade in this makeup look it will instantly turn in to a subtle makeup look.
As always, or most of the times(lol), brow highlight. I highlighted the brow bone with a matte vanilla shade and applied a transition color, which is a very very light brown, and it is almost unnoticeable in the picture, because I only lay a transition color before, because it makes blending the other eyeshadows easier.
For my Crease shadow, I opt for a dark brown eyeshadow. If you follow my blog and the other looks I have created you will know that I really like the way brown shadows look in the crease. I would play with other colors once in a while, but I prefer brown crease, rather than a purple of blue.
On the lids I applied a beautiful greenish gold eyeshadow. I wanted to add a little bit of shimmer to the look, but I didn’t want a yellowy gold. So I went for a greenish gold which gives a perfect amount of shimmer to the look and goes well with the matte brown lips.
To really give dimension to the eye makeup, I added a darker greenish gold in the outer V of the eyes, which is the outer third of the eye. If you see closely in the picture below you will see it starts as a light greenish gold and then it ends into the beautiful dark greenish gold. Which I think really made this look interesting. After that I took a dark brown shade and applied it on the lower lash line and blended it well, as you can see in the picture.
Just last few details for the eye makeup. I added a nude eye pencil in to water line and black in the tightline. This makeup look can really use an awesome pair of false lashes, but I don’t use false eyelashes, so I didn’t have any pair. I just coated on mascara and I was happy with how it turned out. I didn’t add a winged eyeliner, but if you are changing up with lip color and going with a more subtle lip color, totally add a winged eyeliner, and this eye makeup would look amazing.
I used a dark, dark, matte brown liquid lipstick. I absolutely loved how this look was so balanced but fierce at the same time.
In the end I just decided to add a hint of gold eyeliner on the inner third of the lower lash line. Which you can only see in the one picture, but I decided it very last minute. If you try this look out, whether in a more subtle way or the way I wore it, show me your pictures, I would love to see them.
