BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Palette
I’ve never tried out anything from BH cosmetics. It’s a very very affordable brand and I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. I’ve wanted to try out there products from a while now but for some reason I just couldn’t get myself to order something from their website, and then they launched a Carli Bybel palette. For me that seemed like a good way to try out a new brand and a new product online without testing it myself. And I’ve to say it didn’t disappoint. I have heard amazing things about this palette, and honestly that’s all true. When I saw the price and the rave about this palette, I really thought to myself it was just too good to be true, but again I wanted to try it out, and I’m glad I ordered it.
Because I don’t like to beat around the bush, you can already tell I love this palette. In this post I’m sharing all the pros and cons that I’ve experienced, my most favorite and least favorite eyeshadows and also swatches of this palette. Firstly it’s limited edition, so if you want to get your hands on it, order it now. Secondly over-all it’s an amazing palette, not just for the price, and btw the price, well ! it doesn’t get any better than that. You get 14 eyeshadows (10 eyeshadows 4 highlights), but it’s totally up to you how you use them.
The eyeshadows are PIGMENTED ! I didn’t use any mist to swatch the palette. And honestly it looks so much prettier in person than the swatches in the pictures. I’m so impressed with especially the shimmer shadows. All of the eyeshadows are velvetty soft and pigmented. You don’t need to apply pressure to get the product, in fact they’re so soft if you use a heavy hand you’ll end up wasting the product, these’re pressed powder eyeshadows, however they apply and feel very much like cream shadows, the application is as opaque as it can get, which I love.
Let’s talk about matte eyeshadows. I love them, the palette is very well thought out. However the darkest matte shadow(last one in the second row) is my least favorite. It works perfectly fine with the brush, which obviously you’ll use to blend the eyeshadow, but when you swatch it with your finger tip, it gets a little patchy and takes a second to blend. With the brush it works absolutely fine.
The copper shimmer eyeshadows are so so unique, flattering and gorgeous. The gold highlight is everything. Over all it’s an absolute must-have palette for anyone who loves makeup, especially if you’re on budget, this palette is a smart-purchase. You can make the softest most natural everyday looks with this palette, or you can go the darg-queen route too. It’s a great present for any makeup lover in your life or yourself.
Overall, I’m happy I tried it out. And I recommend it a 100%. I’ve a wedding coming up next month, and I think this palette would be great. We might be travelling in near future, I plan to take this along with me. The packaging is cute. It’s all white, with tufted print.
I hope you find this post helpful.
