Best Blushers – My current favorite blushers
When it comes to makeup, nothing makes you look more alive than a healthy pop of color on your cheeks. Blusher is easily one of the most neglected makeup products, and also a lot of makeup beginners find blushers confusing, not because there’re so many shades to choose from but also so many types; cream, powder, tint, gel, stick form and the list goes on. I personally like to stick with powder blushes. Even though I know cream blushers can look really natural and give you a really healthy glow from within, I just stay away from cream products. Powder blushers are my favorite and in this post I’m sharing my current favorite blushers,
Sephora Long Lasting Blush
It’s the kind of blush that looks great all year round, especially on olive skin tones. It’s a coral-pink blush and it gives a very natural and healthy glow to your skin. It feels satiny and goes on the cheeks beautifully.
Clinique Cheek Pop
Again, a perfect all year round pink blush shade. Clinique berry pop has been my go-to ever since autumn approached. It’s a cool toned pink blush which basically goes with almost all makeup looks. You can achieve a really natural looking flush or build it up.
Oh I love this blush. It’s a dupe for NARS Orgasm blush, which is one of the best sellers. If you don’t like blushers with finely milled shimmer you will not like it. I personally love it. It gives a very glow-y and dewy look to your skin. With the color it adds a little bit of shine too which looks gorgeous.
Okay so on my birthday, back in August I got a guylond gift set as a gift and this blush was a part of that set. Guylond Paris is like ELF of Europe, super super suuuper affordable. I’m obsessed with this blusher. It looks so darn amazing, especially now, in fall and winter it’s going to be my go-to blusher. It gives a very warm teracotta glow to your cheeks and blends with the contour seamlessly.
Catrice Defining Blush
080 Sunrose Avenue
This blush shade is perfect when you have got really bold makeup going on. If you have bold eye makeup and statement lips, the last thing you want is to add a bright pop of color on your cheek and look like a clown. This blush has got a satiny finish with very very fine shimmer, it looks stunning. You’d think how on earth it’s gonna show up on the cheeks it’s so neutral, but it gives a slight mauve-pink flush to your skin which looks amazing, especially if you’re wearing really bold makeup look.
Now this one is one of those shades that most people find intimidating. The color you see in the pan is not how it goes on the cheeks, of course depending on how much you slap on. This blush shade is epitome is fall blush colors. It’s not super pigmented, since it’s such a bold shade it works as a plus. You don’t need to be extra careful when you use this blush.
These’re my current favorite blushers.
I hope you find one that tickles your fancy.
