Arab Inspired Makeup
I love Arab style makeup. I think it is absolutely beautiful. Although it is not the kind of makeup that you would wear everyday I think it looks absolutely great when you wear more ethnic outfits and perfect for tradition celebrations. As much as I love super colorful and bold Arab style make up looks, my take on it was a little more subtle. I went for my neutral tones while still keeping the Arab style. I paired this eye makeup with more subtle, pale pink nude lipstick, however the eyeshadow tones I used would go pretty well with many other lip shades. You can opt for something more daring or any other color of your choice. It’s a little difficult to create, just a tad bit. Normally I always share makeup looks on blog, that are easy and everyone can create them, but for this one, you need a little more control. But definitely give it a try, it is such a gorgeous makeup look.
I used three shades of brown on the eyelid. This look is so so simple, minus the Arab inspired eyeliner. I applied a reallyyyyy dark brown on the outer third of the eyes while keeping the cat eye shape, because this look is all about creating those sharp edges.
After that I applied a slightly lighter brown on the mid-lid and a lighter brown in the inner third of the eye, and blended those two together, while I kept the darkest brown more noticeable. This step will really help in creating that cay eye effect, because I am going to apply a very thick eyeliner, even in the first third of the lid.
Now the Arab inspired liner, Apply a regular winged eyeliner and then use it as a guideline to apply the eyeliner in the inner corners of the eyes. Once I had my eyeliner done, I applied a nude eye pencil in the water line, to really open up the eye and blended the darkest brown on the lower lashline.
To add a little more interest and unexpected detail to the look, I applied a gold glitter eyeliner right underneath the outer wing of the black eyeliner. It really elongates the eyes, and gives a subtle touch of glitter to the look. Plus I applied a black eye pencil on the tight line.
For lips I used Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy lipstick called “Desirable”. It is my favorite pale pink lip shade. And suits best to my skin tone.
I hope you liked this makeup look just as much as I did. If you do create it, don’t forget to share it with me.
