A day in Bern, Switzerland

A day in Bern, Switzerland

That place has a special place in my heart. Bern is the first city I stayed in when I first came to Switzerland. I stayed there for about 6 months before we moved. Yesterday we took a walk down the memory lane, and revisited some old places we used to love. It was great to go back after few years and relive the old memories. In today’s blog post I’m sharing the City Center of Bern. In all honesty pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful that place is, but still you can see the glimpse of lifestyle and beautiful architecture.

Is it just me or other people also find that highways are absolutely gorgeous and peaceful ? I find it amazing how life exists where I can’t even imagine, and everywhere you see nature is at it’s best. One of many reasons I love to travel is it makes you humble and realize you’re next to nothing in this world. And it’s a good thing. It keeps you grounded. Sometimes I don’t understand when people are super arrogant and full of themselves like what makes you so conceited ? Who are you ? They say it right ! “Travel is the best education.”  It opens up your heart to acceptance, understanding and love.

I hope you find this post fun and helpful in someway.

Good Luck !

  1. I agree with you wholeheartedly on the wonders of traveling. A lot of the time people have no idea how they have confined themselves to such a small world, and are ignorant to so many things. Travel educates you on so many things, you start to see things from another point of view, as different cultures may have a different viewpoint completely compared to the people back home. It’s always good to travel and soak up the local culture, and take away something from the place.
